THE BETTER TOGETHER TEE
Bring back small businesses.
Support families & youth.
A PERFECT STOCKING STUFFER
Together, we're raising money to raise up lake street's small businesses.
By coming together as a group of small businesses across the Twin Cities and sharing what we have, we can lift up small businesses, support families, and restore hope in communities left heartbroken.
100% of your donations will go directly to rebuilding efforts being led by Urban Ventures - a nonprofit anchored on Lake Street for 27 years and a leader in providing critical services to businesses, families and youth in the community. Urban Ventures will distribute proceeds from the Better Together campaign through the Better Together Minneapolis Community Support Fund.
For every donation of $30 or more, you’ll get a Better Together Minneapolis t-shirt.
Who you're helping
Theft, fire, smoke, and water damage. For over a decade, Camacho and Isa have owned adjoining small businesses on Lake Street. Both were destroyed by recent unrest. Yet, both are standing by each other as they seek a path to rebuild.
They are standing by each other. Now, it’s our turn to stand by them.
To all of our donors, thank you for your amazing generosity!
Campaign proceeds go to the Urban Ventures “Better Together MPLS Community Support Fund,” administered by Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation – 501(c)(3). Urban Ventures––anchored on Lake Street for 27 years––uses a resident-driven, relationship-based approach to develop youth, strengthen families, and build healthy communities.
Proud to partner
Elpis Enterprises, a local nonprofit that provides job training, work experience, and job placement for homeless or precariously-housed youth, is printing the Better Together t-shirts. During a time when many youth are facing countless challenges, we are proud to support an organization that is working hard every day to end youth homelessness.
